| Todd39 barcode font A Code 39 barcode symbology font --- The following characters have been defined: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ 0123456789 -* (Please note, both the upper and lower case alphabetic characters scan as uppercase; there is no such thing as lowercase in Code 39 symbology.) --- For the barcode to be read correctly, you must place an asterisk both before and after the number so that it looks something like this: *123-ABCxyz* Once you have the number the way you want it, change the font to the barcode font. This font has been designed to work with Microsoft Word 2003, 2007 and 2010. Microsoft Word is the only program that I have found that places a space after a line of alphanumeric characters. Because of this, the space has been defined simply as a blank space, the same width as the barcode characters, but not actually having a character that will scan as a space.
